Cycle Counting Clerk
What the job is like
Cycle counting clerks conduct accurate cycle counts of warehouse inventory utilizing WMS (Warehouse Management Systems); compare physical inventory to perceived count and adjust and update inventory count.
They plan, organize and manage audits of inventory presenting reports to management as required.
Essential skills or attributes
- Beginner Computer Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Basic Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Division, Multiplication, Fractions, Percentages)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of warehouse strategies and processes
- Understanding of supply chain strategies and processes
- Ability to read and interpret industry related reports and data
Usual required training
High School Diploma/GED. Industry experience is valued. Some companies may require industry experience.
