What the job is like
Customer service representatives are the people you talk to when you have a question or concern about a product or service.
In logistics, customer service representatives work with internal and external clients, investigating problems, offering solutions, and answering questions.
Essential skills or attributes
- Beginner Computer Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Basic Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Division, Multiplication, Fractions, Percentages)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business etiquette (customer service)
- Negotiation skills
Usual required training
High School Diploma/GED. Customer Service experience or experience interacting with customers is valued.
Some companies may require customer service experience.
