These are the numbers in the Quad Cities area. The Quad Cities (QC) is a good site for logistics, warehousing, and distribution because of our location relatively near Chicago and at the crossroads of interstate 80 and the Misssissippi River.

Business like John Deere, Kraft Foods Global, American Honda, ALCOA, Nestle Purina, and the Rock Island Arsenal employ logistics and warehousing personnel.

The Quad Cities Development Group task force for logistics promotes the area to attract and develop this type of businesses.

The National Job Market

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) says that opportunities are abundant.

You could take part in the global market and work anywhere in the U.S. or overseas.
