One to two years to a great job

Community college training for certificates, diplomas and career-related associate degrees is usually highly customized, so you spend less time in school and are ready to go to work right after graduation.

Four years to a lifetime career

If you want a four-year degree, you’ll be thoroughly prepared for transfer.

Most regional colleges and universities have signed agreements with our colleges to accept all of your credits when you are awarded an associate in arts or science from community colleges such as Black Hawk College in Illinois, or the Eastern Iowa Community College District.

And you’ll spend about half in tuition over the four years.

If you’re thinking about a four-year degree, read about the colleges or universities in the Midwest that have logistics or supply chain management programs.

Other options

Short-term training in which you don’t earn credits is called Continuing Education. Courses range from just a few hours to a few weeks of highly specialized job training.
